We are there for you worldwide. Every location and its teams are important to us, so we would like to introduce them to you.
How many employees work at the branch?
There are 15 employees at the Chile branch.
Are there any staff events at the branch?
Yes, we have regular group meetings about sales, operations etc.. We also celebrate an end of year outing every year to promote a healthy work environment. The past two years we have been to vineyards since in Chile we have very nice vineyards to visit and enjoy all together. This year each of us created our own wine blend at our trip!!! Some of them were very good and everyone enjoyed this group activity.
What kind of jobs are there at the branch and what are typical tasks?
Since everything begins with sales we invest a good amount of time to sales meetings, activities and trips looking for new clients and opportunities. Then comes the most important aspect of our business: providing the best service possible to our clients. Since this is a fundamental pillar in our branch, our operations and CSR teams are key to maintaining our business and to grow alongside our clients, and so far they have been doing a great job.
Of course every day is different, with different challenges, problems etc… and this the beauty of our business.
Why is your FMS office a great place to work?
We have a great work environment and close relationships within our team where everyone understands the importance of each other’s jobs and roles in our company. This allows our relationships to be based on respect and pride in their roles within the logistics chain. We promote fluid and constant communication between the different teams (sales, operations, finance, etc.) and we enjoy our jobs and have fun doing it. We believe our healthy work environment and strong communication is reflected in our service towards our clients. We have been very successful in growing FMS in Chile, in the past four years we have grown substantially in our market and have received very positive feedback from clients. In my opinion, a strong indicator of a good work environment is reflected on employee rotation, and in Chile has been very low.
