How many employees work at the branch?

We have 16 employees working at FMS Shenzhen branch.

Are there any staff events at the branch?

Yes, we have a birthday party every month. Different teams hold the party by turns. We usually order some snacks, fruits, drinks, desserts and cakes, etc. We also present a small gift to the employees whose birthdays fall into that month. We sing and arrange some small interaction of desk games. We also have team building activities each year. In a good year, we may have an outing and we usually go to mountains.

What kind of jobs are there at the branch and what are typical tasks?

In our Shenzhen branch we have an Operation team, a Sales team, handling ocean and air shipments worldwide (export and import) and warehouse operations, of course supported by the financial department who act as the controller on the financial figure.

Why is your FMS office a great place to work?

FMS Shenzhen is located in South China. Shenzhen is the youngest city in China with an average age of 32 years. We have more youngsters than any other city in China. FMS Shenzhen office is also a team of young people with great team spirit.  We are energetic, creative, confident and open-minded. We embrace new things and we accept diversity. Our office is located at the center of Shenzhen. Everything is so convenient that people don’t need to worry about traffic and meals. 

3 Questions to Amor Zhang | FMS Shenzen

1. What is your job at FMS?

My present job is an Operation in the Shenzhen office. I’m mainly responsible for acting as the single contact window to customers for daily operations. Promptly responding to customer inquiries and providing professional solutions to them, establishing / maintaining close relationship with customers. Excepting these, sometimes I'm also the person who enlivens the office atmosphere :)

2. How was your professional development at FMS?

I have been working FMS since Oct. 2016. Based on I have a year's experience in shipping, which makes me get used to a freight forwarder quickly. In the first year , I learned paper export of US trade and responsible for the key account.

The next year, I have an opportunity to initiate food &beverages import, I began to have more communications with customers and sales, and learned how to give customers the best service and also balance the relationship between the customers and sales, As an Operation.

In the recent two years, I had chance to get in touch with more types of business, such as the warehouse, the air and train transport...There is no end to learning

3. Why do you like working at FMS?

FMS Shenzhen is a company with a good teamwork atmosphere. It allows everyone to find their own "position" and develop more feasibility. Not only the work, FMS is also very concerned about the physical and mental health of employees.
