Since our opening in 2020, the Arnstadt branch has grown steadily. Currently, 42 employees are working here. We have 32 drivers, 2 warehouse staff and 7 employees in the office, including a trainee since summer 2022.
In our branch, we organize a summer party every year, where employees get together, eat, drink and enjoy time together. At the end of the year, we meet for a Christmas party to end the year together, look back on achievements and get in the mood for a new year.
Our branch in Arnstadt offers various jobs. We have 32 drivers and 29 of our own modern trucks, which are dispatched daily, mainly throughout Germany. Further tasks are in the department of pallets, accounting and customer service. We operate our own warehouse, which is managed by 2 employees.
Here in our team, there is a friendly, almost family-like working atmosphere, which makes working very pleasant. The employees are extremely helpful and togetherness is important to us. The work is very varied and we face new challenges every day.

I am employed as a professional driver at FMS. I am responsible for the correct transport of goods from the consignor to the consignee, as well as all associated tasks, such as checking the goods, keeping pallet lists and carrying delivery bills and the corresponding accompanying documents.
Since joining the FMS-family in March 2022, I have been working as a driver at the Arnstadt branch. In this area, further development relates more to various qualifications in order to be allowed to transport certain loads.
The social component plays a major role at FMS, so family or private appointments are made possible without any problems on short official channels, which is not a matter of course, especially in long-distance freight transport. The modern equipment of the fleet, especially in the area of active and passive driving safety assistants, gives you a safe feeling when completing your tasks. The team spirit among colleagues is very pleasant and sometimes extends beyond normal working hours.
